This presentation was developed to provide a brief (10 minutes) overview and update on the H5N1 avian influenza virus, its current impact on the global community, its potential to cause the next pandemic, and non-pharmaceutical interventions for planning and preparing. The presentation was developed for a diverse audience [i.e. state and local government and health departments, faith based and community based organizations, tribes, schools, health care settings, and businesses (workplaces)].
