Detecting Agents of Bioterrorism: An Overview of Environmental Sampling Techniques (Grand Rounds 2003)

Dr. Wayne Sanderson will describe environmental sampling techniques used to evaluate the extent of anthrax (Bacillus anthracis) spore contamination during the 2001 anthrax investigations. He will also discuss current research to improve the accuracy of sampling and analytical techniques for detecting B. anthracis spores and other potential agents of bioterrorism.
