P-FLASH (Practical Front-Line Assistance for Support and Healing)
NJCPHP will sponsor this one-day training at the Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center in Westampton, NJ. All public health professionals and front-line responders are invited to attend. Dr. Joseph Napoli will be the guest speaker for the day.

Pandemic Planning: Breaking Down the Barriers Between Science, Policy and Politics

A balanced picture on the potential for an Influenza pandemic and the state of readiness in NJ
This one-day event will be sponsored by UMDNJ and NJDHSS (New Jersey Department for Health and Senior Services).

Gina Kolata, author of "Flu: The Story of the Great Influenza Pandemic of 1918 and the Search for the Virus That Caused It" and science writer for The New York Times will be the keynote speaker for the afternoon. Additional speakers will include Eddy Bresnitz, Assistant Commissioner/State Epidemiologist and NJDHSS Commissioner Fred Jacobs.
