Welcome to the New Jersey Center for Public Health Preparedness at UMDNJ

The New Jersey Center for Public Health Preparedness (NJCPHP), established at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Public Health, is one of the nation's 27 university-based Centers for Public Health Preparedness. The NJCPHP works in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Primary funding is provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, with administrative support from the Association of Schools of Public Health. Additional funding has been provided by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, the New Jersey State Police, the New Jersey Department of Human Services, and the Medical Society of New Jersey.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases: Facts of Vaccine Science, Safety and Surveillance Conference

• H1N1 lessons learned and the benefits of the New Jersey Immunization Registry
